Home Share Service Provider
Are you interested in the rewarding opportunity to share your home with an adult with developmental disabilities?
Home Sharing is a unique model of residential support where an individual or family welcomes a person supported by SACL into their home, creating a safe and supportive living environment. This arrangement can look different for everyone—some individuals enjoy greater independence in a private suite with support nearby, while others prefer a more integrated experience with close, day-to-day connection to their caregiver.
At the heart of Home Sharing is the importance of a strong match. When the interests, lifestyles, and personalities of both the supported individual and the Home Share Provider align, it creates meaningful relationships and positive, lasting outcomes for everyone involved.
While formal education is not required, experience in care-giving is essential. All providers must also complete clear criminal record checks, hold valid First Aid certification, and participate in a comprehensive home study process. Once approved, your home may be considered for future referrals.
We are always looking to connect with compassionate individuals and families interested in becoming Home Share Providers. Because placements are typically long-term, we prioritize thoughtful matching to ensure stability, quality support, and a fulfilling experience for all.
